A small historic temple so well hidden in the center of the city. The murals in the ordination hall are famous for their trailblazing work by a traditional Thai artist.

This temple was established in 1837, as its only structure was the ordination hall. It is said that the King Mongkut: Rama IV, the father of Great King Chulalongkorn: Rama V, ordered to build. The former name was Wat Borommasuk and, then renovated and renamed to be current condition.

Pretty nice temple with a turtle pond on the premises. Unfortunately there seems no way to get into the inner courtyard even during stated operating hours. The location seems quite remote but easily accessible by car/taxi.
